Chemistry is the study of matter and energy and the interactions between them. Chemistry tends to focus on the properties of substances and the interactions between different types of matter, particularly reactions that involve the transfer or sharing of electrons.
What do chemists do in the Army?
The Chemical Corps is a basic branch in the Army that utilizes the skills of a chemist. Additionally, there are numerous positions in the Army that leverage their technical skills. The positions include Scientist, Army Research Labs; Project/Program Manager; Medical Service Corps positions; Instructor, US Military Academy; and Medical Doctor.
Where is the best place to get a graduate-level Chemistry degree?
Given the diverse nature of what can be studied within the realm of chemistry, it is hard to categorize a best university without considering the specific field of study.
